Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large mixing bowl, add the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar. Using an electric mixer, beat them together until the mixture is smooth and creamy.
- Add the eggs one at a time, ensuring they are fully incorporated before adding the next. Then, pour in the vanilla extract and mix.
- In another bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking soda, and salt.
- Gradually add the dry mixture to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined. Be careful not to over-mix.
- Gently fold in the white chocolate chips and blue chocolate candies.
- Drop tablespoons of cookie dough onto a parchment-lined baking sheet, leaving some space in between each cookie.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are golden brown.
- Once baked, let the cookies cool on the sheet for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack.
Notes
To enhance the cookies, consider chilling the dough for 30 minutes for a thicker cookie. Store cookies in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 5 days or freeze for up to 3 months.
