Ingredients

Dough and Filling
  • 1 can crescent roll dough
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 2 teaspoons cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup cookie pieces (your favorite kind) Can use chocolate chip, oatmeal, or snickerdoodles.
  • 1/4 cup butter, softened
Icing
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 tablespoons milk For the icing.
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
For Greasing
  • 1 spray cooking spray For greasing the baking sheet.

Method

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Unroll the crescent roll dough on a lightly floured surface, pressing the seams together to form a rectangle.
  2. In a bowl, mix together the brown sugar, cinnamon, and softened butter. Spread this mixture evenly over the dough.
  3. Sprinkle your cookie pieces over the cinnamon-sugar mixture.
  4. Starting from one end, tightly roll the dough into a log and pinch the seams to seal.
  5. Cut the roll into 1-inch slices and place on a greased baking sheet, leaving space for them to rise.
Baking and Icing
  1. Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
  2. While the rolls are baking, whisk together the powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  3. Once the rolls are done, let them cool for a few minutes, then drizzle the icing over and enjoy!
