  • 10 ounces Marshmallows
  • 1/2 cup Unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup Semisweet chocolate chips

Method

Preparation
  1. In a large bowl, combine the rice Krispies cereal and marshmallows. Mix them gently, so the cereal stays crispy.
  2. Microwave the butter in a small bowl until completely melted. Be careful not to overheat it!
  3. Pour the melted butter over the cereal and marshmallow mixture. Stir until everything is well combined.
  4. Fold in the chocolate chips gently. You want them mixed throughout without breaking them up.
  5. Transfer the mixture into a greased 9x13 inch baking pan. Press it down evenly.
  6. Allow the mixture to cool completely before cutting into squares or shaping into balls.
  7. Cut into squares, or with clean hands, roll them into balls, and enjoy your delicious Cookie Krispie Balls!

Notes

Store Cookie Krispie Balls in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week. Refrigerate for longer freshness. For freezing, they last about a month. Let them cool completely before packing them up, and warm slightly in the microwave for best taste.
