Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and bake the flour for about 5 minutes. Allow to cool.
- In a large mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until fluffy.
- Mix in the vanilla extract and salt.
- Gradually integrate the cooled flour, mixing until a dough forms.
- Fold in the chocolate chips until evenly distributed.
- Roll the dough into small balls, about 1 inch in diameter.
- Chill the cookie dough balls in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
- Melt the coating chocolate in short intervals until smooth.
- Dip each chilled cookie dough ball in the melted chocolate until fully coated, then place on a baking sheet to set.
- Once hardened, serve or store at room temperature.
Notes
Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week or freeze for up to three months. Thaw in the refrigerator before serving.
