Ingredients
  

For the Cookie Dough
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 5 minutes to kill bacteria
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened Use halal-friendly alternatives if necessary
  • 1/3 cup brown sugar
  • 1/3 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips
For Coating
  • 1 cup chocolate (for coating)

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and bake the flour for about 5 minutes. Allow to cool.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until fluffy.
  3. Mix in the vanilla extract and salt.
  4. Gradually integrate the cooled flour, mixing until a dough forms.
  5. Fold in the chocolate chips until evenly distributed.
  6. Roll the dough into small balls, about 1 inch in diameter.
  7. Chill the cookie dough balls in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
  8. Melt the coating chocolate in short intervals until smooth.
  9. Dip each chilled cookie dough ball in the melted chocolate until fully coated, then place on a baking sheet to set.
  10. Once hardened, serve or store at room temperature.

Notes

Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week or freeze for up to three months. Thaw in the refrigerator before serving.
