  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp salt
Wet Ingredients
  • 1/2 cup cream cheese, softened Ensure it's sufficiently softened for easy mixing.
  • 1/3 cup milk
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
Fruits
  • 1/2 cup chopped peaches (fresh or canned)
Optional
  • Powdered sugar for dusting Optional for serving

Method

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, and vanilla extract until well combined. Add in the softened cream cheese, mixing until smooth.
  3. In another bowl, combine the flour, sugar, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt. Gradually add this mixture to the wet ingredients, stirring until just combined.
  4. Gently fold in the chopped peaches so they’re evenly distributed throughout the batter.
  5. Lightly grease a donut pan, then fill each cavity halfway with the batter.
  6. Bake the donuts in the preheated oven for about 10-12 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  7. Allow the donuts to cool for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack. Dust with powdered sugar if desired.
  8. Share these delicious donuts with your loved ones and savor every bite!

Notes

Consider variations with different fruits like apples or strawberries. Ensure the cream cheese is softened to avoid lumps in the batter. Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 2-3 days, or refrigerate for up to a week. Can be frozen for up to three months.
