- Preheat the Oven: Set your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Mix Ingredients: In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, chopped onion, minced garlic, breadcrumbs, eggs, ketchup, and milk. Add Worcestershire sauce, salt, pepper, and oregano. Mix until just combined.
- Shape the Loaf: Transfer the mixture to a baking dish and shape it into a loaf. Smooth out the top and sides.
- Topping: Spread a thin layer of ketchup over the top for added flavor.
- Bake: Place the meatloaf in the preheated oven and bake for about 60 minutes or until it reaches an internal temperature of 160°F (71°C).
- Rest and Serve: Remove from the oven and let it rest for 10 minutes before slicing.
Notes
Store leftover meatloaf tightly wrapped in plastic or in an airtight container for up to 3-4 days. To freeze, slice before placing in freezer bags and use within 3 months.
