Cooking the Dip
- In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned. Drain excess fat if necessary.
- Stir in the diced onions and minced garlic, cooking until they are soft and fragrant.
- Reduce the heat to low, then add the cream cheese, shredded cheddar, and sour cream into the skillet. Stir continuously until everything is melted and combined smoothly.
- Add Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper to taste. Continue cooking until warm and bubbly.
- Transfer the dip to a serving bowl. Serve warm with tortilla chips, and enjoy!
Notes
For a lighter option, swap ground beef for ground turkey or chicken. Store leftovers in an airtight container for 3-4 days or freeze for up to 2 months. Reheat in short intervals in the microwave.
