Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Cut the cinnamon rolls into quarters.
Mixing Ingredients
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, vanilla extract, and cinnamon until well combined.
Coating and Cooking
- Dip each piece of cinnamon roll into the egg mixture, making sure to coat all sides evenly.
- Heat a skillet over medium heat and add a tablespoon of butter.
- Once the butter is melted, add the coated cinnamon roll pieces to the skillet, cooking until golden brown on all sides (about 4-5 minutes).
Baking
- Transfer the cooked bites to the prepared baking sheet and bake in the oven for another 10 minutes to set.
- Remove from the oven and drizzle with maple syrup or sprinkle with powdered sugar before serving warm.
Notes
For a lighter texture, use whole milk instead of heavy cream. Add a tablespoon of orange zest for a citrus twist. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days or freeze for up to a month.
