Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a loaf pan.
- In a large mixing bowl, mash the bananas thoroughly. Then add the melted butter, sugar, brown sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract. Stir until well combined.
- In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring gently until just combined. Be careful not to overmix!
Baking
- Pour half of the batter into the prepared loaf pan. Sprinkle with the cinnamon-sugar mix, then add the rest of the batter on top and swirl it gently with a knife.
- Bake for 50-60 minutes, until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
Glazing and Serving
- While your banana bread cools, mix the powdered sugar with the milk until smooth and drizzle over the cooled loaf.
- Allow to cool for at least 10 minutes in the pan before transferring to a wire rack. Slice and enjoy!
Notes
Store Cinnamon Roll Banana Bread wrapped tightly in plastic wrap or foil at room temperature for 2-3 days or freeze individual slices in airtight containers for up to 3 months. Reheat slices in the microwave or oven to restore freshness.
