Cinnamon Donut Bread combines the warm, comforting flavors of a classic cinnamon donut with the ease of a quick bread. With a moist, tender crumb and a cinnamon-sugar topping, this bread is perfect for breakfast, dessert, or a sweet afternoon snack.

Ingredients
  

  • #### For the Bread:
  • - 2 cups 250g all-purpose flour
  • - 1 cup 200g granulated sugar
  • - 1 tsp baking powder
  • - 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • - 1/2 tsp salt
  • - 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • - 1/2 tsp ground nutmeg
  • - 1 cup 240ml buttermilk
  • - 1/4 cup 60ml vegetable oil
  • - 2 large eggs
  • - 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • #### For the Cinnamon-Sugar Topping:
  • - 1/4 cup 50g granulated sugar
  • - 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • - 2 tbsp unsalted butter melted

Instructions
 

  • #### Prepare the Bread:
  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x5-inch loaf pan or line it with parchment paper.
  • In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
  • In a separate bowl, mix the buttermilk, vegetable oil, eggs, and vanilla extract until well combined.
  • Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients, stirring until just combined. Avoid overmixing.
  • #### Bake:
  • Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top.
  • Bake for 50–60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  • Let the bread cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer it to a cooling rack.
  • #### Add the Topping:
  • In a small bowl, mix the sugar and cinnamon for the topping. Brush the melted butter over the top of the warm bread, then sprinkle the cinnamon-sugar mixture evenly over it.
