Preparation and Baking
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease or line a 9-inch round cake pan.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, cream the butter and sugar until fluffy. Beat in the eggs and vanilla extract.
  3. In another bowl, mix the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  4. Gradually add the dry mixture to the wet ingredients, alternating with the sour cream. Stir gently until combined.
  5. Gently fold in the cinnamon chips until evenly distributed.
  6. Spread the mixture evenly into the prepared cake pan.
  7. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  8. Let it cool in the pan for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack. Slice, serve, and enjoy!
