magine biting into a warm, fluffy waffle that’s kissed with the sweet, cinnamon goodness of churros—yes, that’s right!

Ingredients

  • 2 cups milk
  • 2 teaspoons apple cider vinegar
  • 2 1/2 tablespoons honey
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 4 1/2 tablespoons baking powder
  • 1 1/2 cups sugar for topping
  • 3/4 cup cinnamon for topping
  • 3/4 cup butter for topping

Instructions

  • Preheat your waffle maker: Get it nice and hot to ensure those waffles come out crispy and golden.
  • Mix all dry ingredients: In a mixing bowl, combine the flour, salt, cornstarch, and baking powder. Stir well to ensure even distribution.
  • Combine the wet ingredients: In a separate bowl, whisk together the milk, apple cider vinegar, honey, and olive oil until fully combined.
  • Combine wet and dry ingredients: Slowly add the wet mixture to the dry ingredients. Mix gently until well combined, making sure not to over-mix (a few lumps are okay!).
  • Cook the waffles: Pour about 1/2 cup of batter into your preheated waffle maker and cook until they are golden brown and crisp.
  • Prepare the topping: While the waffles cook, mix the sugar and cinnamon in a bowl. Melt the butter in a microwave-safe dish.
  • Serve and enjoy: Once your waffles are ready, dip them in the melted butter and sprinkle them liberally with the cinnamon-sugar mixture. Serve warm and enjoy!
