Preparation

- In a large mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
- Beat in the eggs one at a time and mix in the vanilla until combined.

- Gently fold in chocolate chips and sprinkles, if desired.
Baking
- Spread the batter evenly in the prepared pan.
- Bake for about 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Allow to cool completely in the pan before slicing into bars.
