  • 1/2 cup cocoa powder

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened butter until creamy, about 2-3 minutes.
  3. Gradually add the powdered sugar and blend until light and fluffy.
  4. Stir in the vanilla extract until fully combined.
  5. In a separate bowl, mix together the all-purpose flour, cocoa powder, and salt.
  6. Gradually incorporate the dry mixture into the butter-sugar blend until just combined.
  7. Gently fold in the chopped walnuts until evenly distributed.
  8. Roll the dough into balls and flatten them slightly on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  9. Bake in the preheated oven for about 20 minutes, or until the edges are slightly firm.
  10. Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack.
