  • 1 cup chocolate chips Use Halal-certified chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup peanut butter Use Halal-certified peanut butter
  • 1 cup crushed graham crackers Make sure they are finely crushed
  • 1/2 cup mini marshmallows

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the chocolate chips and peanut butter. Heat in 30-second intervals, stirring in between, until melted and well combined. This usually takes about 1 to 2 minutes. Be careful not to overheat!
  2. In a separate bowl, mix together the crushed graham crackers and mini marshmallows until well distributed.
  3. Pour the melted chocolate-peanut butter mixture into the dry ingredients. Stir until everything is well coated and combined. Make sure there are no dry patches!
  4. Spoon the mixture into a lined 8×8 inch pan or onto a lined baking sheet. Press it down firmly to create an even layer.
  5. Place the pan in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes, or until the treats are set and firm.
  6. Once set, cut into squares and serve. Enjoy your delicious Chocolate Treats!

Notes

For variations, consider using dark chocolate chips or sugar-free peanut butter. Store in an airtight container for up to 1 week, or freeze for up to 3 months.
