Ingredients

Pie Crust
  • 1 whole pre-made chocolate pie crust Store-bought for convenience
Filling
  • 1 cup fresh raspberries Gently washed
  • 2 cups heavy cream For whipping
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar For sweetening the cream
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract For flavor
  • 4 ounces dark chocolate, melted Use high-quality chocolate for best results
  • 1 cup cream cheese, softened Ensure it's at room temperature for easy mixing

Method

Preparation
  1. Place the pre-made chocolate pie crust in the fridge while you make the filling.
  2. In a mixing bowl, beat together the softened cream cheese and melted dark chocolate until smooth.
  3. In another bowl, whip the heavy cream until it begins to thicken. Gradually add the powdered sugar and vanilla extract while continuing to whip until stiff peaks form.
  4. Gently fold the whipped cream into the chocolate mixture until fully combined.
  5. Pour the chocolate cream filling into your prepared pie crust, smoothing the top with a spatula.
  6. Evenly distribute the fresh raspberries on top of the chocolate filling, pressing them in slightly.
  7. Cover the pie with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4 hours (or overnight) to set.
  8. Once set, slice your pie, serve with an extra dollop of whipped cream, and enjoy!

Notes

For substitutions, use semi-sweet chocolate instead of dark chocolate for a richer flavor, or mascarpone cheese if cream cheese isn't preferred. Allow ample chilling time for setting, and be gentle when folding to maintain the airy texture.
