- In a bowl or jar, mix together the rolled oats, almond milk, cocoa powder, honey or maple syrup, vanilla extract, and salt. Stir well until everything is fully combined.
- Make sure there are no dry spots of cocoa powder, and the mixture looks evenly blended. Feel free to adjust sweetness to your liking at this point!
- Cover the bowl or seal the jar with a lid, then place it in the refrigerator. Let it sit overnight (or at least for 4 hours) to allow the oats to soften and absorb the flavors.
Serving
- In the morning, remove the oats from the fridge and give them a good stir. Add your favorite toppings like sliced bananas, berries, nuts, or a dollop of yogurt. Enjoy every creamy bite!
Notes
Chocolate Overnight Oats can stay fresh in the fridge for up to 5 days when kept in an airtight container. For the best texture, avoid freezing.
