Preparation
- Wash and dry the strawberries thoroughly with a paper towel.
- In a microwave-safe bowl, microwave the dark or milk chocolate in 30-second intervals, stirring in between until smooth.
- Hold a strawberry by the leaf and dip it into the melted chocolate, twisting gently to ensure an even coating.
- Allow any excess chocolate to drip off, then arrange the dipped strawberries on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
- If using toppings, add them immediately while the chocolate is still warm.
- For an elegant touch, melt the white chocolate in the same method and drizzle it over the chocolate-covered strawberries.
- Refrigerate the baking sheet for at least 30 minutes or until the chocolate has firmed up.
- Serve your delicious chocolate covered strawberries on a beautiful platter.
Notes
Store chocolate covered strawberries in a single layer in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Best enjoyed within 24 hours. Avoid freezing to maintain texture.
