  1. Wash and dry the strawberries thoroughly with a paper towel.
  2. In a microwave-safe bowl, microwave the dark or milk chocolate in 30-second intervals, stirring in between until smooth.
  3. Hold a strawberry by the leaf and dip it into the melted chocolate, twisting gently to ensure an even coating.
  4. Allow any excess chocolate to drip off, then arrange the dipped strawberries on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  5. If using toppings, add them immediately while the chocolate is still warm.
