Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Grease a 9x13 inch baking dish lightly with a bit of butter.
- In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, granulated sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt until well combined.
- Pour in the milk, melted butter, and vanilla extract. Mix until you have a smooth batter.
- Fold in the chocolate chips for an extra chocolatey flavor.
- Spread the batter evenly into your prepared baking dish.
- Carefully pour the boiling water over the batter. Do not stir!
Baking
- Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes or until the top is set but the center is gooey.
- Let it cool for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy warm with your favorite toppings!
Notes
