  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 cups chocolate candy pieces Feel free to mix different candies.

Method

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter, brown sugar, and white sugar until the mixture is light and fluffy, about 3-4 minutes.

  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add this to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.

  6. Use a cookie scoop or tablespoon to drop rounded balls of dough onto lined baking sheets.
Baking
  1. Bake in the preheated oven for about 10-12 minutes or until the edges are golden brown.
  2. Remove from the oven and let cool on the baking sheets for a few minutes before transferring them to wire racks to cool completely.

Notes

For best results: Ensure butter is at the right temperature, avoid overmixing, chill dough for extra chewiness, and experiment with different types of add-ins.
