Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x13-inch baking pan.
- In a large bowl, combine the melted butter and sugar. Stir until smooth, then add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Finish with vanilla extract.
- In another bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, salt, and baking powder.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring just until combined. Be careful not to overmix!
- Pour the brownie batter into the prepared baking pan, spreading it evenly.
Baking
- Place in the oven and bake for 20-25 minutes. You want the top to be set but still slightly gooey in the middle.
Cooling and Serving
- Remove from the oven and allow it to cool in the pan for at least 10 minutes before cutting into squares.
- Enjoy with a scoop of ice cream or a drizzle of chocolate sauce!
Notes
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to five days. For longer storage, freeze portions tightly wrapped in plastic wrap.
