#### **Step 1: Cook the Rice**
Rinse the rice under cold water until the water runs clear to remove excess starch.
In a medium saucepan, bring **2 cups of water** to a boil. Add **rice, salt, and olive oil**, then stir.
Reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for **15 minutes**, or until the rice is tender and liquid is absorbed.

Remove from heat and let the rice sit, covered, for **5 minutes** to steam.
