  • 8 pieces small corn or flour tortillas
  • 1 cup shredded lettuce
  • 1 cup diced tomatoes
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheese
  • 1/4 cup chopped cilantro
  • 1 lime, cut into wedges
  • to taste salsa or hot sauce (optional)

  1. Cook the Chicken: Begin by either grilling, baking, or pan-frying your chicken breast until fully cooked. Season it with your favorite spices for that extra kick. Once cooked, allow it to rest for a few minutes before shredding it with two forks or your hands.
  2. Warm the Tortillas: In a skillet, warm the tortillas on low heat for about 30 seconds on each side until they are pliable.
  3. Assemble the Tacos: On each tortilla, lay down a generous portion of the shredded chicken. Top with shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, and a sprinkle of shredded cheese.
  4. Garnish: Finish off with chopped cilantro for freshness. Squeeze a wedge of lime over the top for zesty flavor.
