  • 1/2 cup celery, chopped
  • 1/2 cup grapes, halved
  • 1/2 cup walnuts, chopped
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise Use halal-certified mayonnaise.
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard Use halal-certified Dijon mustard.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Start by shredding your cooked chicken and dicing your apple. Chop the celery and halve the grapes. Make sure the walnuts are finely chopped.
Mixing the Dressing
  1. In a medium-sized bowl, combine the mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, salt, and pepper. Mix until smooth.
Combining the Salad
  1. In a large mixing bowl, add the shredded chicken, diced apple, chopped celery, halved grapes, and chopped walnuts.
  2. Pour the dressing over the mixture and stir gently until everything is well combined.
Serving
  1. Arrange the lettuce leaves on a platter and spoon the chicken salad mixture on top. Enjoy immediately, or cover and refrigerate until you're ready to serve.
