  • 1 cup smooth peanut butter
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the peanut butter, sugar, and egg. Blend until smooth.
  3. Mix in the baking soda and salt until well incorporated.
  4. Using a cookie scoop or a tablespoon, drop dough balls onto a parchment-lined baking sheet, leaving space between each one.
  5. Use a fork to gently press down on each dough ball, creating a crisscross pattern on top.
Baking
  1. Place in the preheated oven and bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges turn golden.
  2. Allow them to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes

Store cookies in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week. Freeze for longer storage, separated by parchment paper.
