- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a 9x13-inch baking pan with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
- In a large bowl, whisk together the melted butter and brown sugar until smooth and well combined.
- Add the eggs and vanilla extract, mixing until everything is well blended.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
- Gradually fold the dry ingredients into the wet mixture, stirring just until combined—don’t overmix!
- Stir in butterscotch chips until evenly distributed throughout the batter.
- Spread the batter evenly into the prepared baking pan.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the edges are golden and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.
- Let the bars cool completely in the pan before slicing them into squares.
