Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish lightly with cooking spray or butter.
- Spread the crushed pineapple evenly in the bottom of the prepared baking dish.
- Spoon the cherry pie filling on top of the crushed pineapple.
- Sprinkle the yellow cake mix evenly over the cherry layer.
- Drizzle the melted butter over the cake mix.
- Optional: Sprinkle chopped nuts on top.
Baking
- Place the baking dish in the preheated oven and bake for about 30-40 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and bubbling.
- Let the cake cool for a few minutes before serving.
Serving
- Top with ice cream or whipped cream before serving.
