Ingredients
  

Cereal Base
  • 9 cups rice Chex cereal
Chocolate Mixture
  • 12 oz white chocolate chips Melted
  • 1 cup cherry-flavored candy melts Melted with white chocolate
  • 1/2 cup cherry pie filling For flavor
Coating
  • 1 cup powdered sugar For dusting
Toppings
  • 1/2 cup sprinkles Optional
  • Additional cherries for garnish Optional

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Pour the rice Chex cereal into a large mixing bowl and set aside.
  2. In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the white chocolate chips in 30-second intervals, stirring in between until smooth.
  3. Once melted, mix in the cherry-flavored candy melts and cherry pie filling until fully blended.
  4. Pour the creamy mixture over the Chex cereal and gently fold until all pieces are evenly coated.
  5. In a separate bowl, combine the powdered sugar with the coated cereal, tossing carefully until well coated.
  6. If desired, sprinkle with colorful sprinkles and extra cherries for a visually appealing finish.
  7. Allow the mixture to cool and harden before serving for about 10-15 minutes.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature for up to two weeks. Can also be frozen for up to three months.
