Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Spread the melted butter evenly over both sides of each slice of Texas toast.
  3. Sprinkle the shredded cheddar and Parmesan cheese evenly over the buttered toast.
  4. Sprinkle garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper over the cheese.
  5. Place the prepared toast on a baking sheet and bake for about 5-7 minutes or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  6. Remove from the oven, let cool for a moment, then serve immediately.

Notes

For variations, try different cheese combinations or add herbs and red pepper flakes for extra flavor. Make sure your bread is dry enough to absorb butter and cheese to avoid sogginess.
