  • Salt and pepper to taste

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Spread the tater tots evenly on a baking sheet and bake for about 15-20 minutes or until golden brown and crispy as per the package directions.
  3. In a large bowl, mix together the mashed potatoes, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper until well combined.
Assembly
  1. Lay a flour tortilla on a flat surface. Spread a generous portion of the mashed potato mixture in the center, followed by a sprinkle of cheddar cheese and a handful of crispy tater tots.
  2. Fold the sides of the tortilla inward, then roll it up tightly from the bottom. Repeat with the remaining tortillas.
Final Bake
  1. Place the rolled burritos on a baking sheet seam side down and bake for another 10-15 minutes, or until the tortillas are lightly golden and crispy.
  2. Remove from the oven and let them cool slightly before serving.

Notes

Feel free to use whole wheat tortillas or substitute cheddar cheese with a plant-based alternative for a healthier twist. To prevent soggy burritos, avoid overfilling and ensure tater tots are crispy before adding.
