Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Roll out the pizza dough on a lightly floured surface until you have a rectangle, about ¼ inch thick.
- Sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese evenly over the rolled-out dough, leaving a small border around the edges.
- Layer the sliced pepperoni over the cheese, followed by a sprinkle of grated parmesan and Italian seasoning for extra flavor.
- Roll the dough tightly to form a log, starting from the long edge, and pinch to seal the ends.
- Cut the roll into 1-inch slices and place them cut-side up on the prepared baking sheet.
- Brush the tops with olive oil to give them a beautiful golden color while baking.
- Bake in the preheated oven for about 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
- Remove from the oven and let them cool for a few minutes before serving with marinara sauce for dipping.
Notes
Try serving with a variety of dipping sauces, such as ranch dressing or spicy red pepper sauce, to add excitement. Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to three days, and reheat in the oven at 350°F (175°C) for about 10 minutes.
