  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 can (4 oz) diced green chiles
  • 1/2 cup chopped green onions
  • 1 tsp garlic powder

  • Tortilla chips for serving

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (180°C).
  2. In a medium-sized mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese and sour cream. Blend until smooth and creamy.
  3. Stir in the shredded cheddar cheese, diced green chiles, garlic powder, chopped green onions, and a pinch of salt and pepper. Mix well.
  4. Spread the mixture into a small baking dish, smoothing the top.
Baking
  1. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, until bubbly and golden on top.
  2. Once done, let it cool slightly before serving with tortilla chips.

Notes

For a healthier twist, consider substituting Greek yogurt for sour cream. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container for up to 3 days, or frozen for up to 2 months.
