Cheesy Halloween Breadstick Bones

Ingredients
  

For the breadsticks
  • 1 can refrigerated breadstick dough (11 oz)
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
For dipping
  • 1/4 cup marinara sauce or more as desired

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Open the can of refrigerated breadstick dough and separate each breadstick.
  3. Take each breadstick and shape it into a bone by pinching in the middle and rolling the ends.
  4. Place the formed bones on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and brush each breadstick with melted butter.
  5. Sprinkle garlic powder, oregano, and salt over the breadsticks.
  6. Generously sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese over the top.
Baking
  1. Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and bake for 12-15 minutes until golden brown and crispy.
  2. Remove from oven and let cool slightly.
Serving
  1. Serve warm with marinara sauce for dipping.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat in the oven or air fryer for best results. Freeze for up to a month.
