Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and prepare a baking sheet by lining it with parchment paper.
- In a small bowl, combine melted butter, minced garlic, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
- Roll out the pizza dough onto a clean, lightly floured surface. Use a rolling pin if needed, stretching it out to form a rectangle.
Assemble the Rolls
- Brush half of the garlic butter mixture over the rolled-out dough and sprinkle half the mozzarella cheese evenly across the dough.
- Roll up the dough tightly from one end to the other and pinch the seams to seal.
- Slice the rolled dough into 1-inch pieces and arrange them on the prepared baking sheet.
- Brush the remaining garlic butter mixture over the tops of the rolls and sprinkle with any additional cheese and chopped parsley.
Baking
- Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until golden and bubbly.
- Remove from the oven, sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese if using, and enjoy warm!
Notes
You can customize these rolls with different types of cheese or toppings like fresh herbs or red pepper flakes for a bit of heat. Store leftovers in an airtight container or freeze them for later enjoyment.
