Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded or diced
  • 1 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or mozzarella)
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 4 large tortillas
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Method

Preparation
  1. If you don’t have cooked chicken on hand, poach chicken breasts in boiling water for about 15 minutes or until cooked through. Shred or dice the chicken into bite-sized pieces.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, minced garlic, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix well to create a creamy sauce.
  3. Fold the cooked chicken into the garlic sauce until every piece is well-coated.
Assembly
  1. On a large tortilla, spread a generous amount of the cheesy garlic chicken mixture. Sprinkle with shredded cheese and top with any extra veggies you like.
  2. Fold in the sides of the tortilla and roll it up tightly from the bottom. Secure with a toothpick if needed.
Cooking
  1. Heat a skillet over medium heat with olive oil. Place the wraps seam-side down and cook for about 2-3 minutes on each side until golden and crispy, and the cheese melts.
Serving
  1. Slice in half and garnish with fresh parsley. Serve with your favorite dipping sauce, and enjoy!

Notes

Customize the cheese by experimenting with different types of cheese and add heat with crushed red pepper flakes or diced jalapeños. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
