Bread and Spreads
  • 1 loaf loaf of French or Italian bread
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced or more to taste
  • Salt and pepper to taste
Cheese Toppings
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Fresh or dried parsley for garnish

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the softened butter and minced garlic, mixing until well combined. Add salt and pepper to taste.
  3. Cut the loaf in half lengthwise. If you prefer smaller pieces, you can slice it into portions.
  4. Generously spread the garlic butter mixture onto each half of the bread, ensuring a nice even coating.
  5. Evenly distribute the shredded mozzarella and grated Parmesan over the buttered bread.
Baking
  1. Place the bread halves on a baking sheet and bake for approximately 10-12 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly, and the edges of the bread are golden brown.
Serving
  1. Remove from the oven, sprinkle with parsley, and cut into pieces before serving. Enjoy hot!
