  • 1 loaf French baguette or Italian bread Choose your preferred type.
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened Make sure it's at room temperature.
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced Fresh garlic is recommended for better flavor.
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese For ultimate gooeyness.
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder Enhances garlic flavor.
  • to taste Salt and pepper Adjust according to your preference.

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a medium bowl, combine the softened butter, minced garlic, garlic powder, parsley, salt, and pepper. Mix until all the ingredients are well incorporated.
  3. Slice the baguette in half lengthwise. If you prefer smaller pieces, you can cut it into individual slices instead.
  4. Use a spatula to evenly spread the garlic butter mixture over each half of the bread.
  5. Generously sprinkle mozzarella and Parmesan cheese on top of the buttered bread.
  6. Place the bread halves on a baking sheet and bake for about 10-12 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  7. For a golden, crispy finish, switch your oven to broil for an additional 1-2 minutes, watching closely to avoid burning.
  8. Remove from the oven, allow to cool slightly, and then slice into pieces. Serve hot!

Notes

Use fresh ingredients for the best flavor. Experiment with different cheeses, and add crushed red pepper or truffle oil for a unique twist. Allow to cool slightly after baking to slice neatly.
