Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- On a lightly floured surface, roll out your pizza dough into a rectangular shape about 1/4 inch thick.
- Use a sharp knife or pizza cutter to create a tree shape—triangular on top with a flat bottom.
- Spread mozzarella cheese generously over the dough, leaving space at the edges for folding.
- Sprinkle Parmesan and herbs evenly on top.
- Cut small lines to form branches on each side of the tree.
- Starting from the bottom branch, carefully pull each piece upwards and twist to resemble branches.
- Brush the entire loaf with melted butter, then sprinkle garlic powder and a pinch of salt.
Baking
- Place the bread on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
- Once baked, let it cool slightly and garnish with parsley or basil.
Notes
Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container for up to 3 days. Reheat in the oven at 350°F (175°C) for about 10-15 minutes. Can also be frozen for up to a month.
