  • 1 can crescent roll dough
  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
  • 1 cup cream cheese, softened Make sure to soften before mixing.
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup ranch dressing
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • to taste Salt and pepper

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the shredded chicken, softened cream cheese, shredded cheddar cheese, ranch dressing, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until all ingredients are well incorporated and the filling is creamy.
  3. Open the can of crescent roll dough and unroll it, separating the individual triangles.
  4. On a baking sheet or greased casserole dish, lay out the crescent triangles, overlapping them to form a circular or rectangular base with the center open for filling.
  5. Spoon the chicken and cheese mixture into the center of the arranged dough.
  6. Bring the points of the crescent dough over the filling and tuck them in to create a cozy pocket.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until the dough is golden and crispy.
  8. Let it cool for a few minutes, slice, and serve warm.

Notes

For a lighter option, substitute Greek yogurt for cream cheese. You can also use Italian dressing instead of ranch for a different flavor. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3-4 days, or freeze for longer storage.
