Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 1 loaf round sourdough bread
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup sliced pepperoni
  • 1/2 pound ground beef, cooked and crumbled Ensure it's Halal.
  • 1/2 cup pizza sauce
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

Method

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Place the round sourdough bread on a baking sheet and cut a deep 'X' in the top, ensuring to cut through the crust but not all the way through the bottom.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine the cooked and crumbled beef, sliced pepperoni, pizza sauce, grated Parmesan cheese, and Italian seasoning. Stir until well mixed.
  4. Open up the 'X' in the bread to create pockets and stuff the meat mixture generously into each pocket. Drizzle olive oil over the top.
  5. Sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese generously over the stuffed bread, ensuring it seeps into the openings.
Baking
  1. Place the bread in the preheated oven and bake for about 25 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly, and the crust is golden brown.
Serving
  1. Let the loaf cool for a few minutes before serving. Tear pieces off and enjoy.
