Preparation
- Preheat your oven and spread the frozen fries on a baking tray. Cook according to package instructions until they are golden and crispy.
- In a large skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef, breaking it apart with a wooden spoon. Once it’s cooked, drain any excess fat.
- Stir in the taco seasoning along with the water specified on the packet. Cook for another 5-7 minutes until the mixture is heated through.
Assembling the Burritos
- Lay a tortilla flat and spoon a portion of the beef mixture onto the center.
- Sprinkle a generous amount of shredded cheddar cheese on top.
- Fold the sides over the filling, then roll tightly from the bottom up to form a burrito.
Cooking the Burritos
- Place the burritos seam side down in a clean skillet over medium heat. Cook until the tortillas are golden brown and crispy, about 3-4 minutes on each side.
Serving
- Plate the burritos alongside crispy fries. Top with your choice of sour cream, salsa, lettuce, tomatoes, or jalapeños for extra flavor!
Notes
