- Drain and rinse the black beans to remove excess sodium.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine black beans, shredded cheese, sour cream, salsa, garlic powder, cumin, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined, leaving some beans intact for texture.
Cooking
- Transfer the mixture to an oven-safe dish or skillet and bake in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for 10-15 minutes, until bubbling and golden.
- Remove from the oven and let it cool for a couple of minutes before serving.
Serving
- Serve warm with tortilla chips and enjoy!
Notes
