Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 1 pound ground beef (80/20 blend) for juiciness
  • 12 pieces Hawaiian rolls
  • 12 slices American cheese
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • Salt and pepper to taste
Optional Toppings
  • Ketchup
  • Mustard
  • Pickles optional

Method

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, chopped onion, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper. Mix until just combined.
  3. Shape the beef mixture into small patties, about the size of the Hawaiian rolls.
Cooking
  1. Cook the patties in a skillet over medium heat for about 3-4 minutes on each side, or until desired doneness. Alternatively, bake them on a sheet pan.
  2. Lay the bottom halves of the Hawaiian rolls in a baking dish. Place the cooked patties on top, and cover each with a slice of cheese.
  3. Top with the top halves of the rolls, and brush with melted butter if desired.
  4. Bake for approximately 15 minutes until the cheese is melted and the tops are golden brown.
Serving
  1. Serve with ketchup, mustard, and pickles as desired.

Notes

Don’t overmix the beef, use quality beef, and feel free to customize your toppings. Assemble sliders in advance and bake before serving.
