Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a skillet over medium heat, add the ground beef and chopped onion. Season with salt and pepper. Cook until the beef is browned and the onions are translucent, about 5-7 minutes.
- Drain any excess fat from the skillet.
- Reduce the heat to low and stir in the shredded cheddar cheese and chopped pickles. Mix until the cheese is melted.
- Open the package of crescent roll dough and unravel it on a floured surface.
Assembly
- Place a spoonful of the cheeseburger mixture on the wide end of each dough triangle.
- Fold the dough over the filling starting from the wide end and pinch the seams to seal.
- Brush the tops with the beaten egg.
Baking
- Place the sealed pockets on a lined baking sheet and bake for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown.
- Let them cool for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days. Reheat in a preheated oven for best texture.
