Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 1 package Pizza Dough Store-bought or homemade.
  • 2 cups Mozzarella Cheese For that melty goodness.
  • 4 tablespoons Unsalted Butter Adds richness to the knots.
  • 3 cloves Fresh Garlic Brings a wonderful aroma and flavor.
  • 2 tablespoons Parsley For a pop of color and freshness.
  • 1 teaspoon Salt Enhances the flavors.

Method

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. If using store-bought dough, let it rest for 10 minutes to make it easier to handle. Roll out the dough on a floured surface into a rectangle.
  3. Sprinkle mozzarella cheese evenly across the dough. Cut the dough into strips about 1 inch wide.
  4. Take each strip and stretch it gently before twisting it into a knot. Tuck the ends under for a neater appearance.
  5. In a small saucepan, melt the butter and mix in minced garlic and a pinch of salt.
  6. Place the knots on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Brush generously with the garlic butter mixture.
Baking
  1. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
  2. Remove from the oven and sprinkle with fresh chopped parsley before serving.

Notes

Serve with a fresh salad or a bowl of marinara sauce for dipping. These knots can also be paired with creamy tomato soup or a chilled iced tea. For storage, keep in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to three days or freeze before baking.
