Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar, mozzarella, or your favorite) Choose your preferred cheese.
Wet Ingredients
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 large egg

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a loaf pan or line it with parchment paper for easy removal.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the dry ingredients: all-purpose flour, baking powder, and salt. Mix well.
  3. Add the shredded cheese to the dry mixture and stir to coat.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together melted butter, milk, and egg until combined.
  5. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry mixture and mix gently until just combined.
  6. Transfer the batter to the prepared loaf pan, spreading it evenly, and sprinkle some extra cheese on top if desired.
Baking
  1. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until the top is golden brown and a toothpick comes out clean.
  2. Let it cool in the pan for about 10 minutes before transferring it to a cooling rack.

Notes
