Method

Preparation
  1. Place small bowls on the board for spreads, dips, or loose items like olives.
  2. Position the cheeses first, spacing them across the board to anchor your layout. Slice or partially slice harder cheeses for easy serving.
  3. Fold or roll the cured meats and place them near the cheeses. Create visual interest by layering or fanning them out.
  4. Fill in gaps with clusters of fresh fruits and small piles of nuts. Arrange them in a way that adds color and texture.
  5. Add crackers and bread slices in stacks or scattered around the board for accessibility.
  6. Finish by adding olives, pickles, or small sweet treats like chocolate for a final touch. Garnish with fresh herbs like rosemary for added elegance.

Notes

Choose a variety of cheeses, balancing soft, semi-soft, and hard textures. Opt for a mix of sweet and savory items to satisfy different palates. Use seasonal fruits for freshness and visual appeal. Keep everything bite-sized for easy snacking. Store leftovers separately in airtight containers.
