Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x5-inch loaf pan.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, spices, and salt until well combined.
- In a large bowl, mix the apple butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, eggs, oil, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Gradually stir the dry ingredients into the wet mixture just until combined. Be careful not to overmix!
- If you’d like, gently fold in any nuts or raisins for an extra texture boost.
- Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth out the top.
Baking
- Bake for 50-60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Once baked, remove from the oven and let it cool in the pan for about 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
Notes
For an even more flavorful kick, consider adding a splash of maple syrup or honey to the batter! You can switch out the apple butter for pumpkin puree for a different flavor. Store leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature for 2-3 days or freeze for up to 3 months.
