Main Ingredients
  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1 cup milk (or cereal milk) Any type of milk can be used.
  • 1/2 cup yogurt Preferably Halal-certified.
  • 2 tablespoons sweetener (honey or maple syrup)
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • a pinch salt
Toppings (optional)
  • Fruits, nuts, etc. Choose your favorite toppings.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a medium mixing bowl, add the rolled oats, milk (or cereal milk), yogurt, sweetener, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt. Stir until well-combined.
  2. Divide the mixture into jars or airtight containers for easy storage and serving.
  3. Seal the jars and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or overnight.
  4. When ready to eat, give the oats a good stir and add your favorite toppings.
  5. Dig in and savor the delicious flavors and textures.

Notes

Leftover Cereal Milk Overnight Oats can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 5 days. If you prefer your oats warm, reheat in the microwave for about 30-40 seconds and add a splash of milk if they become too thick.
