- Wash the apples thoroughly and slice them into wedges or rounds, ensuring the core is removed.
- Melt the caramel sauce in a microwave-safe bowl. Heat it for about 20–30 seconds, stirring until smooth.
- Dip each apple slice into the melted caramel and ensure it’s fully coated.
- Place the caramel-covered slices on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Sprinkle chopped nuts on top or drizzle some melted chocolate over the caramel for extra flair.
- Allow them to set for a few minutes until the caramel firms up slightly, then serve!
Notes
For a homemade caramel taste, substitute store-bought caramel sauce with a mixture of sugar, butter, and cream. Store Caramel Apple Slices in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 2 days, using wax paper between layers to prevent sticking.
